Project Overview

Located in the heart of Williamstown, the Williams Bookstore is intended to feel like a community bookstore. The first floor of the 14,257 sf building features retail books and a cafe operated by Tunnel City Coffee featuring both indoor and outdoor seating in addition to flexible event space. The second floor space is dedicated to text books and school merchandise, where the latest and greatest school apparel can be found. A dedicated private meeting room for readings by Williams faculty and guest authors is also located on this floor. Offices located on the third floor are leased by outside organizations, providing rental income for the College.

The new bookstore was designed and constructed for LEED Platinum Certification and includes energy efficient windows and LED lighting throughout the facility in addition to several other sustainable products.
