Boasting breathtaking views on a hilltop in the Spruce Peak at Stowe development, lies a charming, sophisticated, modern ski house; the result of a perfect collaboration among the designers, private home owners and Engelberth Construction.  A traditional old New England style exterior opens to a “mountain modern” interior that is intimate, clean and elegant.  A subtle mixture of simple textures, an abundance of natural light, neutral colors and detailed craftsmanship are applied throughout the 6,226 square foot timber-framed house.  The single family residence features a stone-clad fireplace wall and applewood sheathed island and stove hood in the kitchen, a timber clad cathedral ceiling, fieldstone fireplace, chic light fixtures and a wall of large, double-glazed windows in the main living area with warm, walnut flooring throughout.  The residence contains five bedrooms including a first-floor master, and seven bathrooms, all intimately luxurious.  A twenty-five person galaxy spa surrounded by stone rounds out the dramtatic, view-inspired property.
