Green Mountain PowerSystems Building Campus Renovation
Project At A Glance
Project Overview
Green Mountain Power (GMP) engaged Engelberth Construction to construct their new operations center in an existing facility. The building, built in the early 1980’s required a face-lift inside and out, as well as significant demolition to create the open-office concept that GMP uses for their operations centers. The vision for the architectural feel of the space is created by bright and offsetting colors as well as a large amount of new windows and skylights. The renovation included all new mechanical and electrical systems. In addition to standard support spaces, the new operations center includes a state-of-the-art control room and emergency response command center where operations can monitor all of the southern region’s system status and resource deployments. High-tech conference rooms complete the scope of the renovation and upgrade.
