Engelberth Raises Over $40,000 for Make-A-Wish Vermont
Thanks to Engelberth Construction’s employees, subcontractors and business partners, Jamee (age 16), Cole (age 4), Drew (age 5) and Celia (age 6) are going to have their wishes granted. A new deck, sensory equipment, a visit to see the monster truck “Gravedigger” and a swim with dolphins are all planned for these special children living with life threatening illnesses.
An August golf tournament capped off Engelberth’s incredible 2014 Make-A-Wish fundraising campaign that included countless job site barbecues, bake sales, raffles, a basketball shoot out and Calcutta. The initial campaign goal was to raise funds for two wishes, but in true Engelberth fashion, our employees embraced this wonderful cause donating considerable time and money to help bring hope, strength and joy to more children.
“We know our employees are caring, generous and hard working people, but the determination and commitment to helping these children was by far, more than anyone anticipated. We couldn’t be prouder and more appreciative of our staff and fellow business partners for this outstanding achievement”, stated Tom Clavelle, CFO and Pierre LeBlanc, President of Engelberth Construction.
