We are pleased to announce that five Foremen – Ron Ashley, Phil Bissonette, Cory Cook, Terry Lafland and Eric Palmer have recently been promoted to Project Superintendents/Supervisors.
Ron Ashley has been with the company for over eight years and is a 25 year seasoned United States Army veteran with the 2nd 310th infantry serving five deployments with a total of 2,364 combat duty days in Afghanistan and Iraq. Ron’s work experience includes projects at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center, Dartmouth Medical School, Rutland Regional Medical Center, Ben & Jerry’s as well as projects at Keene State College. He is currently supervising the Shearer Audi Alterations and Addition project. He resides in South Royalton, VT with wife Jamie and three children.
Phil Bissonette is a long time employee, having been with Engelberth since 1986. The last several years he has worked on a multitude of projects for Rutland Regional Medical Center including the Sterile Processing, Linear Accelerator, 5th Floor Renovation, Vermont Orthopedic Center Renovation and Operating Room 4 Renovation to name a few. For close to eight years he worked on IBM Corporation renovations, additions, and cleanroom work. His current assignment is with the Industrial Facility Management team working on projects for Middlebury College, PBM Nutritionals and Green Mountain Coffee Roasters. Phil is also active at Rutland Regional Medical Center doing miscellaneous work. He lives in Hinesburg, VT with his twin sons.
Cory Cook works from the Keene, New Hampshire office and has been with the company for over ten years. His experience includes most recently working as a supervisor at Brattleboro Retreat Osgood Building Renovation. Cory has also worked on projects at Southern New Hampshire Medical Center, Kendal at Hanover and Keene State College, which is where he currently is working on the Technology, Design and Safety Center. Cory lives in Keene, NH.
Terry Lafland joined Engelberth in 2000. Also based out of the Keene, New Hampshire office, Terry’s most recent work includes several Dartmouth College projects, King Arthur Flour Expansion, miscellaneous Brattleboro Retreat projects and is currently at working at the Hannover Inn Renovation project. Terry lives in Dummerston, VT with his wife Libby. They have three sons.
Eric Palmer, also a military veteran, has served two tours with the Vermont National Guard in Afghanistan and Iraq. Eric has been with the company for nearly ten years and specializes in civil site work. Some of his most notable projects include civil-related work at Castleton State College – Athletic Fields, Stadium Building and Parking; King Arthur Flour Expansion, Upper Valley Aquatic Center, and The University of Vermont – Moulton Winder Artificial Turf Field. Eric is currently supervising the Parking Lot Improvements to St. Pius X Parish in Essex Junction, VT, Lake Champlain Chocolates in Burlington, VT, and Ben & Jerry’s in Waterbury, VT. Eric has also played a role in civil site work of current projects including The Heritage Automotive Group Expansion in South Burlington, VT, GW Plastics’ Plant Addition in Royalton, VT, and Cardigan Mountain School – Cardigan Commons in Canaan, NH. He resides in Waitsfield with his wife Lisa and three sons.
