INTRODUCING WALLACH; CARDIGAN MOUNTAIN SCHOOL’S NEW HUB FOR INNOVATIVE DESIGN, APPLIED ENGINEERING, AND CREATIVE ARTS
2020 will long be remembered as a “wallop” of a year for many, but for Cardigan Mountain School, it was a “Wallach” of a year, as they watched their new 19,000 sf academic building come alive and open in time for the beginning of an unprecedented school year.
Wallach serves as the new hub for active, creative, and experiential learning. The facility houses the Innovation in Design, Engineering and the Arts (I.D.E.A.) Shop, the Engineering Possibilities Innovation & Creativity (E.P.I.C.) Center, the Williams Wood Shop, and space for the visual and digital arts. The modern facility was configured to be a flexible space with multi-purpose classrooms for cross-curricular learning opportunities.
